We have more details on Ava, the upscale Mediterranean restaurant moving into the former Luma on Park space we told you about in April.
In addition to serving cuisine based on ‘traditional and modern flavors of the Mediterranean and the Cycladic Islands’, Ava will house formal and informal dining spaces, a traditional bar and a mixology-focused bar, a VIP lounge reserved for Ava members and an “underground mixology bar.”
According to a spokesperson for the restaurant, this underground bar (where Luma housed his wine cellar and private dining room) will be accessible “from a clandestine entrance within Ava” and will be a private space reserved for members. offering a “mixology program, spirits and cocktail cart experience.”
I can almost hear the chic and chic party decor of Park Avenue peeing!
Details of membership costs are still being worked out, but a representative from Mila Restaurant Group (Ava’s parent company) said those interested will have the option of joining one or more locations in the group’s portfolio. of restaurants, in particular: Lounge (opening in December one floor below Mila MediterrAsian in Miami), the Ava Members Lounge and the Casa Neos Members’ Rooftop (Casa Neos is their new concept located on the Miami River).
Expect Ava to open its doors towards the end of the year.
